Signs of Our Times

A Little Diversion..... Sharing our favorite signage.

If not Route 12, then where are we?
(Bethel, Vermont)

Honestly, where else but Texas.....
Be sure to smile when you are being honest in Texas!

You really need to corral
those crazy antique farm machinery
or else they get out and cause all kinds of havoc.
Thanking the fence donors before the machinery donors.

Slow down....for the fox sake.....
Say it fast!

Miss Chovie really wanted to be in the other photo.

Must be hard to sell a house on a street called Small Pox Trail.

We have always wanted to get a Christmas card from someone who lived on Small Pox Trail.  Maybe some day......This is our favorite street sign of all time. I guess it beats "Skunk Misery Road" in Higganum and "Roast Meat Hill Road"  in Killingworth, both in Conneticut.

Mr. McGregor finally picked that carrot in his garden that he'd been protecting from Peter Rabbit.  We think it looks great in the corner of his bedroom.

Trying to live up to our blue china

The Gow Sisters

To paraphase that great Oscar Wilde quote - "Everyday we find it harder and harder to live up to our blue china." - We are in some small way, trying to live up to our blue china.  After all, our blue china expects this.

Laduska & Louise are two sisters who have long discussions on how the world would be a better place, if only they asked us.  We also love exploring the accoutrements of the design & fashion world.  We will be taking a look and will be commenting on the tacky and terrific in the world of design.  Some things we like, some things we don't.

We will share our reactions to what we see along the way and have asked ourselves, "What were the thinking."  It wouldn't have happened.... If You Asked Us.....
